Correla are looking for a Security Engineer to join our Security Operations team.
Salary: circa £52k (advertised salary achievable for a candidate fulfilling all role criteria)

About the Role
* Implement, configure, and manage a wide range of cybersecurity tools and platforms, including endpoint protection, SIEM, DevSecOps tools, CASB, firewalls, and vulnerability management solutions.
* Continuously assess systems and infrastructure for vulnerabilities,
* Collaborate with incident response teams to perform technical investigations, conduct root cause analyses, and support effective recovery efforts.
* Automate security operations workflows to improve efficiency, while ensuring alignment with
* recognized frameworks
* Provide security guidance to developers and project teams
About You
* You will have the ability to act as the lead technical investigator during major cybersecurity incidents
* You will have experience within DevSecOps and a strong capability to embed security best practices
* You will have proven skills in deploying, managing, and optimising cybersecurity technologies, including SIEM, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, and cloud-native
* security solutions both in Azure and AWS.
* You will be skilled in identifying, analysing, and mitigating vulnerabilities across diverse environments
* (infrastructure, applications, cloud).
* You will have the ability to independently identify system improvements, design creative security solutions, and drive technical enhancements
* You will have strong verbal and written communication skills,
* You will have proven experience working within a Cyber Security environment or a similar role
* Technical certifications such as CISSP/SSCP, OSCP, AZ-500, Security+/CySA + or similar are highly desirable.
