Correla are looking for a Technical Test and Business Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team within Managed Services.

 

Salary: circa £54,500 (advertised salary achievable for a candidate fulfilling all role criteria)

About the Role:

 

Testing Elements

  • Develop and execute robust test plans for data pipelines, transformations, semantic models and Power BI reports
  • Validate data accuracy, completeness, and lineage across the full solution
  • Perform regression, functional, usability, and performance testing
  • Implement reusable testing frameworks and automated checks where possible

Business Analyst Specialisms

  • Clarify requirements, business rules, and expected behaviours early in the project lifecycle
  • Translate stakeholder needs into clear acceptance criteria
  • Bridge communication between technical and non‑technical teams

About You

  • You will have proven experience testing data pipelines, integrations, and transformations across large and complex datasets
  • You will have strong SQL skills for data interrogation, reconciliation, and anomaly detection; Power BI and Databricks experience advantageous
  • You will have the ability to translate business requirements into clear technical specifications and test conditions
  • You will have experience designing, executing, and maintaining test plans
  • Strong communication skills
  • Solid understanding of data governance principles, including data quality, lineage, and security
