About the Role
- Operational Security Leadership: Lead the technical direction of cybersecurity operations to ensure the effective monitoring, detection, response and mitigation of cybersecurity threats while maintaining operational resilience and alignment with organisational objectives.
- Stakeholder Management: Building and maintaining internal and external stakeholder relationships to align cybersecurity objectives with organisational goals
- Continuous Improvement: Enhance cybersecurity operations capabilities by leveraging data insights, innovative development, and automated processes to strengthen resilience and efficiency.
- Incident Management: Direct the effective response, containment, and recovery from cybersecurity incidents, ensuring minimal impact and rapid resolution.
- Reporting: Effectively convey cybersecurity information, build consensus, and drive informed decision-making across diverse audiences and organisational levels
About You
- Technical Skills: In depth understanding of industry security principles, standards and frameworks such as NIST, ISO27001, CES+ Technical Qualification: Achieved or working towards relevant qualifications e.g., GSOM, CISSP, CISM, SSCP, CISA
- Team Leadership: Experience in a similar role of leading cybersecurity operations across complex systems with multi-functional in house and partner support teams
- Professional Experience: Experience with SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management and identity platforms. Good technical knowledge and experience of common enterprise level security, network, infrastructure, application and cloud technologies.
- Strategic Management: Driving cybersecurity resilience through effective team direction, operational strategy execution and alignment with organisational objectives
- Risk Management: Identifying, assessing, and mitigating cybersecurity risks while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory frameworks
