Correla are looking for a Head of Corporate Development to join our Commercial team.

 

Salary: circa £90,000 (advertised salary achievable for a candidate fulfilling all role criteria)

About the Role

  • Conduct research on market trends and emerging competitors to identify targets and maintain a deal pipeline

  • Map potential targets to corporate strategy and assess alignment with long-term growth priorities

  • Deliver in-depth insights on target companies, including commercial and financial analysis, synergy assessment, valuation modelling and red flag reporting. Summarise in board-ready investment papers

  • Coordinate cross-functional internal and external due diligence to evaluate an execute transactions

  • Establish deal-specific KPIs and monitor performance against plan. Lead synergy tracking and post integration value creation activities

  • Lead in specific commercial initiatives, including market sizing and pricing strategy for new product development and the design of strategic growth plans

About You

  • Significant experience in M&A, Investment Banking, Corporate Development, or, Transaction Advisory is essential

  • Analytical, strategic, commercially minded and 'hands on' approach

  • Able to evidence strong foundations in financial modelling, accounting and valuation

  • Proven drive and ambition with a successful track record in financial and commercial value creation

  • Detail oriented, with excellent, written, verbal and interpersonal communication

  • Comfortable in navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced, lean environment with multiple stakeholders

  • An ability to challenge and influence senior stakeholders, including board level audiences
