About the Role:
The Lead Data Architect is responsible for defining and governing the strategic direction of data architecture across Correla’s managed services, with a particular focus on SAP-based data ecosystems within the UK Link platform.
1. SAP Data Architecture Strategy
- Maintain enterprise-level data architecture standards for UK Link
- Own the design of data models and structures across SAP ISU and BW and all other non SAP applications
2. Data Governance & Compliance
- Enforce master data management (MDM), data quality, classification, and retention policies across SAP systems
- Establish and maintain data lineage and metadata strategies
3. Integration & Interoperability
- Design scalable and secure data interfaces between SAP and non-SAP
- Support the architecture of data replication, transformation, and reporting layers, especially involving SAP BW and analytics platforms
4. Solution Review & Assurance
- Participate in change reviews to ensure SAP data components are impacted
- Review SAP-related changes or enhancements from a data perspective
5. Collaboration & Leadership
- Work closely with Functional SAP Architects, Data Engineers, and Solution Architects across UK Link delivery
- Act as mentor to other architects
About You
SAP Platforms
- Experience with SAP IS-U and SAP BW
- Exposure to S/4HANA (desirable)
- Familiarity with SAP Data Services for data integration and transformation
Data Modelling
- Proficient in SAP Data Dictionary concepts
- Skilled in creating and managing CDS Views
Integration
- Experience designing and managing API-based SAP integrations
Governance
- Strong understanding of data ownership and stewardship practices
- Familiar with data lineage tracking, classification models, and lifecycle management policies
